What are the requirements for a Health and Care Worker visa?
To be able to qualify for a Health and Care Worker visa, you’ll be asked to show that you meet the relevant requirements, these include:
- that you’re a qualified doctor, nurse, health professional or adult social care professional
- that you work in an eligible health or social care job
- that you work for a UK employer that’s been approved by the Home Office
- have been given a ‘certificate of sponsorship’ from your employer, this should tell us about the role that you’ve been offered in the UK
- be paid a minimum salary - this could be different depending on the type of work you’ll be doing
