What are the requirements for this tourist visa?
To apply for a tourist visa in Portugal, you’ll need:
- Valid passport: Issued within the last 10 years, valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure date, and with at least two blank pages.
- Visa application form: Completed and signed. Downloadable from the official Portuguese immigration website.
- Passport-sized photos: Two recent photos that meet Schengen visa photo specifications.
- Proof of accommodation: Hotel reservations or a letter of invitation from a host in Portugal.
- Proof of travel plans: Flight itinerary or round-trip tickets.
- Travel insurance: Proof of medical insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000.
- Proof of financial means: Bank statements, proof of income, or sponsorship letter, showing sufficient funds for the duration of your stay.
- Visa fee payment: Receipt of visa application fee payment.
