Step 2 - Start your online application

Step 3 - Book your appointment

Make an appointment with your visa application centre. Take your supporting documents with you and be sure to be on time.

Top tip: Check the average appointment wait times in your country so you can be sure your appointment will come in time for you to get your visa.

Step 4 - Submit your application

You’ve done the hard part and gotten everything ready. Now all you need to do is show up to your appointment and have your fingerprints scanned (biometric data). Make sure you’ve got all of your documents and are ready to pay the fees. Once you’ve done that, your visa is officially submitted. This appointment usually takes about 20 minutes.

Step 5 - Track your visa

Your visa will be monitored through the visa application centre that you applied through. They’ll let you know when your passport is ready to pick up. Visa processing typically takes between 15 and 45 days.
