How long can I study abroad in France with my student visa?
If your work placement doesn’t go over 90 days then a short-stay visa could be a good choice for you.
If you plan to stay on your work placement for more than 90 days, you will receive a long-stay visa (the same as a residence permit) which will be validated when you arrive in France.
