Student visa

If you’re applying for a Belgian student visa, there are a few important requirements you’ll need to meet. You’ll need proof that you can support yourself financially while you’re studying in Belgium. For 2024-2025, you’ll need €803.00 per month. You can find more student visa guidance here. 

There are a few different ways you can prove you have these funds:

• a scholarship 
• proof of your own finances to support yourself
• the form “the commitment that charge will be taken" completed by your guarantor or sponsor, if someone else will be supporting you

If you’re going to be supporting yourself, the “blocked account” procedure might be best for you. You can ask your higher education institution to help you with this.
